MEET THE OM TEAM
Om Yoga is where you can find balance, harmony and energy renewal amidst the hectic bustle of everyday pressures and deadlines.
Sienna first started practicing yoga 6 years ago when she was looking for an alternative to regular exercise. On her first class she knew that she had found something special. After travelling and trying many different styles of yoga she found Vinyasa yoga and hasn’t looked back since. Sienna believes that yoga is for everyone and encourages students to listen to their bodies to develop their own yoga awareness. Yoga isn’t about touching your toes it’s simply there to help bring awareness and stillness to our mind and body.
Nicky Davidson is a senior yoga teacher of SomaChi and Vinyasa Yoga. Curiosity, and a passion for energetic practices, drew Nicky to Tai Chi many years back. From there, she progressed to Somatic Tai Chi which teaches that grace and ‘energetic intelligence’ are natural qualities one only has to rediscover. Since 2001 Nicky has been practicing and studying Buddhist meditation and philosophy which continues to this day under the direction of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche. Since 2004 Nicky has been teaching yoga within yoga studios, fitness and wellbeing center’s, and corporate sectors throughout Melbourne both in group yoga classes and also privately with clients. She invites people to experience the flow and grace within Yoga through these energetic and enlivening movement practices.

Stephanie comes from a busy corporate background. When she stepped on her Yoga mat for the very first time she fell in love with the practice. Her dedicated commitment to her personal practice provides her with continually fresh insight to share and intuitively guide students from personal experience, inner wisdom and yoga philosophy that are of meaningful service to students. She did her Initial Vinyasa Teacher Training with Power Living and recently completed her Yin Yoga Training. “I love the physical challenge that Yoga Practice can bring on the mat as much as I love the calmness and heart touching aspect of Yoga”.
Karen travelled extensively around the world for 14 years living for extended periods of time in India, China, Tibet, Europe and the Middle East learning of different cultures, religions and philosophies. It was in 1995 in Dharamsala India that Karen’s yoga journey began. As she began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life she felt inspired to share this gift with others. Upon Returning to Australia she has since completed her 200 Hour Hot Yoga, 80 Hour Hot Flow and 50 Hour Yin training from Grass Roots Yoga and strives to cultivate happiness and balance through mindful living, hoping to inspire her students to do the same. With that mentality she teaches her classes from her heart creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness. She is continually inspired by yoga’s transformative power—both internally and externally. She strives to bring a sense of fun, freedom and kindness to her classes.
